The short version
- Your resume is used to analyse you against jobs you choose. Nothing else.
- We do not use your data to train AI models. Not now, not later.
- We never share your resume with employers. We are not a job board or a recruiter.
- Voice recordings are deleted the moment they become text. We never store audio.

2What we collect

What we collect automatically
Which pages you visit and which features you use, your approximate city, your device and browser type, and the ad or search that brought you here.
We do not put your resume, job descriptions, interview answers or transcripts into our analytics. Usage events reference your activity by identifier only.
What we deliberately do not collect
- Video. We never request camera access. There is no video interview, no avatar, and no facial or body-language analysis.
- Stored audio. See section 4.
- Payment card details. Payments are handled by Razorpay; card details never reach our systems.
- Caste, religion, gender, age, marital status, disability or mother tongue. We do not collect these, do not infer them, and do not use them in any assessment.
3What we do with it
We use your data to:
- read and structure your resume;
- analyse it against the jobs you choose;
- suggest improvements for those jobs;
- generate interview questions and preparation material;
- conduct mock interviews and give you feedback;
- remember your weak areas so later practice is useful;
- take payment and give you what you bought;
- answer your support messages;
- understand product usage in aggregate;
- meet legal and accounting obligations.
4Voice recordings — we do not keep them
When you take a mock interview:
- your voice is streamed to a speech-recognition service and converted to text;
- the audio is discarded immediately — it is never written to storage;
- only the text transcript is kept, so we can score your answers and show you what you said.
There is no audio recording of you on our systems. This is how the software is built, not only what this page says.
Your transcripts are kept so your report is meaningful and so we can show your progress. You can delete them at any time.
5We do not train AI models on your data
We do not use your resume, job descriptions, interview answers or transcripts to train, fine-tune or improve any AI model — ours or anyone else’s.
We use third-party AI services to process your data. We select and configure these so your content is not retained by them or used for their own model training.
6Who else sees your data
Nobody who is hiring
We never share your resume, analysis, interview answers or anything else with employers, recruiters or job boards. We do not sell your data, and we do not sell advertising against it.

These providers process data on our instructions, for these purposes only.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how people find and use Kaaryon — which pages they reach, on what kind of device, and roughly where in the world they are. It tells us whether the product is working, not who you are.
It only runs if you say yes. The first time you visit we ask, and nothing is loaded or stored until you agree. If you decline, or simply ignore the question, Google Analytics never loads and no cookie is set. You can change your mind at any time from the link in the footer.
If you agree, Google sets a cookie holding a random identifier and receives your IP address, which it uses to approximate your location. That identifier is not linked to your Kaaryon account, and we never send Google your resume, your answers, your analyses, or anything you have typed into the product.
Our own usage events — the counts behind our internal statistics — are written to our application logs and go nowhere else. Those are separate from Google Analytics and do not depend on your answer.
When we are legally required
We may disclose data if required by law or a valid legal order.
Our own access
We can access your data only when needed — investigating a problem you reported, or a technical fault. Such access is limited and logged.

8Your choices
See and download your data
Download your resumes, target jobs, analyses, transcripts and reports at any time.
Correct it
If we read your resume incorrectly, you can correct it. Corrections apply to everything generated afterwards.
Delete individual items
Delete any single resume, target job or transcript without closing your account. We tell you what else that removes before you confirm.
Delete your account
You can delete your account from your settings. We show you exactly what will be deleted and what is retained before you confirm. Deletion is permanent — we cannot recover it afterwards.
9Keeping your data safe
- All traffic is encrypted in transit.
- Resumes and transcripts are encrypted at rest.
- Your files are private to your account and never publicly accessible.
- Card details never touch our systems.
- Internal access is restricted and logged.
No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your data, we will notify you and the authorities as the law requires.
10What we do not claim
We think a career product should be honest about its limits.
- We are not an applicant tracking system, and we do not reproduce any employer’s screening. Our assessments are our own coaching judgement.
- We do not guarantee interviews, shortlisting or jobs. Nobody honestly can.
- We do not invent experience, skills, qualifications or achievements for you. Where a stronger claim needs a real figure, we ask you for it.
- Everything we produce is a suggestion. You are responsible for the accuracy of anything you send to an employer.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
12Children
Kaaryon is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.
13Changes
If we change this policy in a way that materially affects you, we will tell you by email or in the product before it takes effect. We will not retrospectively change how we handle data you gave us under an earlier version without asking you.
